|SAS Named Apple Distinguished School!|
St. Andrew’s is pleased to announce that it has been named an Apple Distinguished School for the 2012-2013 academic year for its use of the iPad and Apple technology as tools to create a relevant and engaging school experience for our students.
The Apple Distinguished School designation is reserved for schools that excel in areas of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence, and demonstrate Apple’s shared vision of exemplary learning environments.
“It is quite an honor to join a select class of institutions Apple is recognizing nationwide,” said Mark Toth, Head of School. “Much of the credit is due to our dedicated and energetic teachers who are passionate about what they do.”
St. Andrew’s was a national leader in one-to-one iPad implementation for all of our students, Pre-K3 through Grade Twelve. The Apple technology gives teachers access to a tremendous array of tools to assist with meaningful, up-to-date content and to deliver it in an engaging manner.
